Houston, Texas: 20,000 Wristbands Inscribed ‘Pray for Police’

In the wake of the Houston tragedy, where officer Darren Goforth was shot to death at a gas station local leaders, clergy and police officers are building a bridge between law enforcement and the community.
A new campaign was proposed,‘Pray for Police’, that will be distributing 20,000 wristbands inscribed with those very words. One member of the police department who helped develop this campaign, Barry Curtis said, ‘God called me to this position over 25 years ago and I Want to make a difference in the community.’
