This Juneteenth and Father’s Day Weekend we are riding the SELMA bus; praying, singing and marching to tear down the apathy, deaf ears and blind eyes that are allowing the desecration of our women. As our newly released song, “Pray for America” says, we must turn and pray.

For too long, unregulated policies against the rights of our women, who are the wives and mothers of our fathers and children, have been allowed to run rampant in America. This blatant disregard and destruction of our women, our mothers, leads to the breakdown of our families, and further erosion and more heinous violation of the Civil Rights of a nation.

On this anniversary of JUNETEENTH one hundred fifty years after American slaves received notice of their liberation from slavery, there are still many people who do not want African American women to truly experience life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our babies and their mothers are still chattel, slaves to the scourge of genocide. Apathy to the plight of women who should matter is giving cover to the notorious killing centers of America.

On the morning before Father’s Day, we are marching and praying in SELMA to expose “the apathy that state regulatory departments demonstrate regarding women’s lives and abortion; as well as the horrors that apathy has allowed in our nations for far too long”.

The perps aren’t wearing hoods and sheets these days. They are destroying the innocent and shredding women’s wombs; doing their dirty work on unsanitary bloody sheets in under regulated chop shops.

They hide and slaughter in sanctioned unholy killing centers; wearing blood splattered white doctors’ coats and dirty medical scrubs; destroying lives with tools of their deadly trade. Gosnell and Lett are not the exceptions to this rule; they are the secret standard that the industry wants to deny. They don’t care about the lives and bodies of women and our babies; and they spend millions annually to prove it.

They are not medical providers; they are mercenaries after blood and bucks. They don’t want you to know that in a year, they kill or have maimed more African Americans than any sickness, any accidents, and any other kind of violence combined. Abortion and its byproducts are not reproductive health care. For babies, their mothers and their families, abortion is death care.

While good people remain silent and look the other way, the eugenicists look to themselves as the ultimate immoral authority. The genocide escalates to the tune of millions of dead babies and wounded women while the dirty coffers and sad coffins go unregulated; bursting at the seams.

Yet, even as oppressors oppress, God heals and delivers. Oppressors don’t always have to be tyrants with rampaging armies or dictators who erect statues of themselves while they kill and imprison millions.

Sometimes the oppressor can be the sheriff who looked the other way while thugs attacked people because of their skin color.

Sometimes the oppressor is the gang banger who terrorizes neighborhoods out of vengeance or just because it’s expected of him.

Other times, the oppressor, with the face of a Lett or Gosnell, tempts us to exalt our lowest selfish flesh and depraved souls; thereby denying the rights of others. It becomes all about self; the wants of bodies and souls – selfish and deceived wills, minds and emotions.

There is an elephant in the room. We see with our own eyes the destruction of our Black men, our fathers; while all the same time, hidden in plain sight in the abortion mills is the war on the wombs of our women.

At these houses of horrors, our women are all too often raped, or maimed having wombs pillaged in the name of reproductive health and research. Women are left empty, scarred, often sterile and sometimes dead with their babies. And the “perps” often use our tax dollars to keep their doors open.

Inside their walls, STDs, infertility, and reproductive destruction are meting out more death than slavery, Jim Crow and the KKK ever did. This is not a civil right. This is civil wrong.

Even the Founders surely understood that without the fundamental protection of life, which includes the recognition of a woman’s and her child’s inherent, self-evident, God-given right to life, no one would be safe. There would be no Father’s Day, or Mother’s Day. No right to vote, no right to own property, no right to free speech – no right to anything – without the right to life.

Yet today that right is routinely tread upon by Planned Parenthood and all those in the eugenics world. In her own words, Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger said:

“While the colored Negroes have great respect for white doctors, they can get closer to their own members and more or less lay their cards on the table… They do not do this with white people and if we can train the Negro doctor at the clinic, he can go among them with enthusiasm and…knowledge, which…will have far-reaching results among the colored people…The minister’s work is also important and he should be trained, perhaps by the Federation as to our ideals and the goal that we hope to reach. We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”

History notes that Sanger as a popular eugenicist, genocide proponent, and cofounder of the notorious sterilization program, The Negro Project.  Sanger was also favored consultant with the Ku-Klux Klan. She was a forerunner and leader of what today is known as the unregulated, woman hating abortion industry.

Like all liars, the abortion industry calls good evil and evil good. But they cannot get away with denying women the truth. Black women matter, all women matter and all lives matter. The tide is already turning. Let us rise up and demand that they investigate, regulate and shut down their killing centers. It’s time to regulate, not negotiate.

Acts 17:26 tells us that all human beings are created of “one blood.” That makes us one human race. This revelation led my Uncle MLK to say that “we must learn to live together as brothers [and sisters] or perish as fools.” Yet our sisters are perishing in unregulated killing centers in the name of reproductive health.

Make no mistake about it, MLK who said “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere” was prolife. His wife, Coretta Scott King, who accepted the PPH “Maggie Award” in his stead, was fooled about the war on the womb, like countless other women. Let’s tell the truth and shame the devil. Rip the blinders off! It’s time to regulate, not negotiate.

The book of Galatians 4:16 poses the question: “So then am I become your enemy, by telling you the truth?” The truth is that along with millions of post Roe V Wade dead aborted babies, hundreds of thousands of their mothers have been maimed, sterilized, slaughtered, and saddled with chronic sickness and disease. It’s time to regulate, not negotiate.

Fifty years ago, my father Rev. A. D. King and my uncle Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. joined by Aunt Coretta and other brave men and women, people of valor marched and prayed in SELMA to gain the right to vote. Yet there can be no future for the votes for generations to come if our women are not saved from the apathy and desecration of the killing centers.

Happy Fathers’ Day Daddy, Granddaddy and Uncle ML; I know that you would understand the importance of this “No More Apathy against Women” Campaign today. Black women matter. We march to regulate, not negotiate.

Friends, let us now turn from the scourge of this apathy and submit to God. We, God’s people, called by God’s name, humble ourselves, we pray, seek God’s face, turn from our wicked ways. Oh GOD, now, according to your merciful promise, hear from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land and the wombs of our women. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
